This post really doen't realte to anything more than the title of this song. So, as you can see, my "New" year isn't really off to a great start. I am getting a little nervous about finding a job, even though most openings for teachers don't come out for a month or so. Coming to work each morning is torture. I dread waking up each morning to get ready for the day. Don't get me wrong, I love my kids, and I love teaching, I just hate the place I am working at right now. There is so much tension surrounding the merger. I could post for days on how royally f-ed up this situation is, but it would bore you.

Sooooo, I am going to talk about what I am anticipating. On March 17th of this year, I will be in Des Moines with several of my old college buddies. It is a bachelor party for one of our friends AND it just happens to be his birthday. March 17th is ST. PATRICKS DAY!!! He is even Irish to boot!! We are taking our bus on a whirlwind tour of town. Debachery will ensue. This is my focus point as I mutter through each day...Booze, Buddies, and hopefully bare naked ladies.

Merry Fucking Christmas and Happy God-damn New Year

I realize this is a late post, by almost a month now...but I had lost the mood to blog...

The day before break I was notified about my position at the new school for next year (we are going into a whole grade sharing agreement...consolidation basically). It was in the form of a christmas card...it was a PINK one!

So I was able to celebrate my x-mas break with a layoff for next year. Yippee frickin daa.


This is the reason I have not posted as of late. Please forgive me. I hope to turn more of my angst into blogging prose from this point on.
